In today's lesson, we had to get into a groups in which we decided to go with. In my group is Lucy, Kate and myself. We each had to do an idea for a film for homework, which had us list characters, codes and conventions of films, the title, inspiration for film, narrative and other elements.
Once in our groups, each person had to share their idea for the film they came up with, and then we had to decide which of the films shared we would use for our title sequence. Each one of us had solid ideas for films we would like to do. Lucy had an idea for a film about a serial killer hairdresser, whilst Kate came up with the idea of a serial killer who works for the police and kidnaps a child. My idea was about a serial killer who can control their victims mind and make them do sinister things. All of our film ideas were in the genre of horror making the decision a little easier to make.
At the end of the lesson, with he help of Miss Whitaker we decided to go along with my film idea, as it gave us the good ideas for a title sequence and we all liked the idea.
